For patrons, James Fox detailed the approach and provides a possible pitcher that could fall to the Sox this June.
chitownsportsfan
FWIW I've been reading that this draft is LOADED with prep arms. I think it was Law that said there are half a dozen prep pitchers that would have been the #1 prep guy taken in 2019. The Sox are going to be able to target a 60 FV guy at their spot, that's fucking awesome.
Quin
Learning about that upside target at #11 is exciting, not gonna lie. But also, today I learned my hometown is responsible for Honel and I don't think I can forgive @Y2Jimmy0 for that.

Right out of the draft fangraphs never had more then 2 60s and 11 was never better than a 50 except for 2016 which was very deep. A 60 upside guy would be great too of course. Not a particularly strong prep arm draft, lots of short right handers.

Must have been that the plethora of top college arms will push the top prep arms down in the draft so those looking for higher upside and more risk might be in a good spot.
