As Hawk would say, "you can tie him, but you can't beat him"

Well then Robert has just as much based on what I've seen.

At the end of the day, game power is what matters.

All 3 of those guys are going to be monsters and it's going to be a joy to watch them terrorize the AL for the next 6 years.

Robert hasn't ever really hit a ball off a light tower 420 feet away.

Mazara also has that level of raw power.

I was just going to say that.

Robert has stupid power too, don't get me wrong and I've heard stories about his minor league HRs rivaling Eloy.

The Sox might have the most raw power in their OF in baseball, between Eloy, Robert and Mazara.

If they can tap into Mazara's raw power....oh boy.

This lineup in general is going to be fun to watch, especially when a middling reliever comes in and has to face 3 of them no matter what, with the new rules.

Two problems:

  1. Don't get trapped in the steals game. The fact is, your highest OBP guy should lead off. Steals are nice, but ultimately the only thing you need from your leadoff man is to get on base.
  2. Moncada runs and Anderson runs are equal.

Based on 2019 numbers, Moncada should be leading off. The hope is that one of the young guys will get on base enough to justify leading off.

I agree that the best White Sox team will have Tim Anderson in a 6-9 spot.

I'm really encouraged by Robert taking his walks. If he can get a decent OBP he can be the 1.

1 Robert

2 Moncada

3 Vaughn

4 Jimenez

5 Grandal

6 Anderson

7 who cares

8 who cares

9 Madrigal

That top 6 is so sexy, and doesn't even include power positions at RF & DH.

If I'd bet on any of the Sox OF prospects becoming an MLB regular, it would be Basabe. I think if he has a good season, he's the back up plan if Mazara continues being Mazara.

Gonzalez has had a nice Spring.  That is encouraging as well.

I'm pulling hard for Adolfo, but Basabe probably has the best shot at this point.
