They don’t care about velocity. Kopech was way down with his and they kept throwing him out there.

Thats nice if they dont care about velo from a pitching standpoint valuing movement and control more, but they should still be monitoring it as a baseline for their pitchers to see if somethings wrong or to evaluate changes in mechanics

On what planet did it make sense to start him against the Twins?

That’s what some of us kept harping about pregame. Same doofus that makes these lineups

Just now, Tony said:

Your issue should be how bad of a pitcher Lopez was, is and will be. The opponent hasn’t made much difference the last 3 seasons

Whomever said that he's Fulmer with the trade pedigree instead of draft pedigree is correct.

I don't know if anyone else remembers this but we had exactly the same conversation in 2019 after Lopez's first start because his fastball in that game was down in the low 90s/upper 80s as well.

What random veteran guy are we going to sign now?

Bartolo Colon?

Might as well begin the process of converting Lopez into a reliever.      Still have Lambert, Dunning and Gio...and our draftees, lol.    Would be crazy if we have another Chris Sale 2010 situation with Crochet.
