Madrigal smart baserunning there, saw Gordon's positioning and that he would have to throw the ball on the run.

No hesitation.   Aggressiveness will rub off on the rest of the roster, especially Moncada and Robert...

Any time Robert gets the ball in the air, you expect it to fly 425-475.

“But the exit velocity of madrigals three hits today have been really slow, he’s not going to be a good hitter.”

”He can’t keep that type of luck up.”

”what a wasted pick.”

Anything besides the Cardinals stuff?

Yeah I don’t want to be too alarmist but I’m scared. Just trying to enjoy today since who knows what happens when those numbers come out

If he hits .273, he’s a 2 WAR player minimum. Because .273 will translate to a 650 OPS minimum (over a full season of at bats) and his fielding and baserunning are great.

Obviously he's going to need to walk occasionally to get to those numbers.

Moncada got himself out there.    SIGH.

RISP continues to be a disaster.

Not that it means anything,  but isn't it weird that the problems seem to all be in the NL?
