And the injury bug continues....

Honestly compared to most other teams we've been rather fortunate.  None of the injuries look serious and Rodon was always a massive question mark same with Reylo.  Also, Mendick and Garcia are playing their ass off in the steed of TA and Madrigal right now.

Agreed. Injuries are bad right now. Braves especially hard hit with major stuff

I can't believe he separated his shoulder on that play, or injured himself at all for that matter. That was just a routine slide into third base. Hopefully someone can teach him to slide properly, should have never happened

If you watch the video he lands hard on his elbow. This drive the humerus up into the acromium (top of the shoulder). This is a classic shoulder separation move. He's lucky he didnt fracture his clavicle. I typically see this in people falling off a bike.

He has a frail little body.  He's always going to susceptible to injuries that bigger stronger players are not.

Maybe but this isn't one of them. If anything a larger person would have a longer lever arm (pun intended) produced more force and had a more severe injury.

If anything smaller lighter players will be less prone to injury as the forces usually are not as strong, from falling to swinging to everything else.

Nick Madrigal’s first few games in the majors have shown exactly what we should have expected from him: A lot of weak contact and very few strikeouts. Madrigal is 5-for-17 for the White Sox as I write this, garnering four of those hits in one game against a weak array of Royals pitching, with all five hits going for singles. He’s struck out only twice for an 11.1 percent rate that would put him in the top 20 percent of all hitters if he qualified. This is pretty much what he is — a high-contact, no-power second baseman who’s a regular if he keeps his average high.
