That pitch had so much break in it...it orginally was on course for the inner half and looked to Mazara like a FB, hence the terrible swing.

Did you not see the replay? The tracker showed it was never close to the inside part of the plate. There's no doubt that Bieber is nasty but that shit is unacceptable

That’s the scary part.  Bieber could easily go another three and I’m not seeing guys looking any better the second time through.

Nope!  Seems like little adjustment 2nd time through.  Meanwhile Bieber is cruising and could go 7/8.

It's a LOT different when you're out there facing a pitch than watching it from a living room, though...in all fairness.

Plus, we all know Mazara's struggling because he started out two weeks behind.   Think of all the players the last 5 years who signed in May/June.   Almost none of them had even decent seasons.    Most ranged from bad to terrible.

They’re major leaguers because they’re supposed to be able to pick up spin.  For the last week, they look like minor leaguers who have never seen a decent breaking pitch.

And yet pitchers typically around the league win 3 of 4 matchups when you count just batting average and never mind the best pitchers in the game.
