fathom
So with the new rules, Tigers could get the tying run to the plate and Cishek would have to stay in. Probably better idea to go to Detwiler, Heuer or Colome.

caulfield12
Heuer's proving that even with high 90's stuff, no easy outings...even against DET, who have actually produced more runs offensively than the "loaded" White Sox line-up.

Somewhat nice to have a game where you're not on the edge of your seat the whole time. Then the most interesting question became how many runs would Carson Fulmer allow against his former teammates...? 1 1/2 behind DET, 1 behind the INDIANS after the Cubbies took out the Indians in CLE (weird to be rooting hard for the Cubs, but that's where we are.) Robert and Moncada couldn't be any colder if they were filming Eight Below II... Edited August 12, 2020 by caulfield12
Look at Ray Ray Run
Moncada had COVID, showed up 4 days before the season started, and he's played 15 games in the past 15 days. He looks tired and it certainly makes sense. People that were ripping the two off days early just overlooking the grind that this is for a guy who was fatigued. It didn't really make sense to sit him after 2-3 games. Should have waited 5-6 games so he wouldn't be so tired now. If he would have played the first 5 games and got the 6th off he would have had 2 days off in a row. He should sit tomorrow to get the back to back off days. Sucks Garcia got hurt, we are now stuck with Goins tomorrow

Statistically it's not there but man the guy reached base 22 games in a row before last night after missing most of camp. Take it easy
wegner
Power out 2 nights ago so could not see that game 1, mercifully. Yesterday, power back but cable and internet still out so missed game 2 last night. By the box score, it looks like Foster did another nice job. Everything is back up so I can have game 3 in the background this afternoon.
