The problem is Ricky doesnt know how to play with the toys he is given.  You have to take away options from him and inform him how to put a lineup together or you get Nicky D batting 2nd and Jon Jay batting in the 3 hole.

That's where the D-Backs are most assuredly NOT hitting him.

At the rate things are currently going, Yonder Alonso's going to outhomer Mazara this season...

6 weeks to play just slightly over .500 to be a 6, 7, or 8 seed. If they can’t do that, the coaching staff from top to bottom has to go.

Absolutely zero chance right now at any of the Top 6...that team definitely would be Cleveland, now without Clevinger and Plesac.  Logically the Indians would be the team to fall, but it's not going to be to the White Sox this year.

And "banishing" those two guys to their training camp will probably end up reuniting the big league roster together in a way that actually works out better than anyone expected.

3-0 pitch and Ricky had him ground out to the pitcher. What an idiot.

Why do I waste my time

Well bro lol...it's the manager who gives the green light for 3-0

But yeah I don't blame rock for that one...but if you can't see that Ricky sucks then your are wasting your time

Here's another thing about how terrible Hahn is at constructing a roster.  Last season he had money to spend and struck out on big time free agents.  So this year, after having mostly struck out on areas of need, he decides to go after a catcher.  Which, was one area where the Sox could have rolled with McCann and Collins and see what we had in both.  Instead, what does Hahn do?  It's like he went into a store as a 10 year old with birthday money to buy a certain thing, sees they don't have it and buys whatever else he could because the money was burning a hole in his pocket.

The same clown who couldn't put a winner around two amazing pitchers should have never been given the ability to put the roster together after the rebuild.  He had his chance to build a roster and couldn't get it done.  He needs to go now before he ruins the window with this core with more bullshit signings like EE, or trades like Mazara.  Or you know, getting to choose another manager.

Even Yermin, for god's sake...won't go as far as to count SEBY Zavala, but Collins represents yet one of many notable institutional failures, from draft/evaluation to development/progression.    Carson Fulmer, Example B.

At this rate, Cishek doesn't even make it through the year.  Put a fork in him.   They might give it a go of hiding him on the IL just to see if he can rediscover his magic touch, but it's unlikely to reverse itself in the middle of this short season.

Yep.  Multiple options on the cheap, to see what we had in them.  Instead he further created a log jam by signing a catcher we didn't need and giving Abreu a 3 year extension.   Total clown.
