The Bears had Club Dub last year for wins.

Right but I never paid much attention to the name and associating it with wins probably because you could go weeks without seeing it. Being a bigger Sox than Bear fan I finally had to ask . The doubloons part was a joke. It was either that or something about a trip to Dublin

So an event that has occurred only 10 times in MLB history  didn"t crack ESPN's top 10 sports plays of the day ?

They are full of shoot.
Clearly a backlash from being called out live by TA7

If it wasnt official before it is now. They are way past their prime. For the vast amount of people that have cut the cord and refuse to pay for cable or satellite ,or any subscription TV ,they dont exist at all.

The Sox homers were featured early on SportsCenter

ESPN couldn't have justified ignoring the feat at all. That would have been gross negligence.

It should have featured in primetime in the top 10 countdown.  There was no event in MLB yesterday (8-16) that came remotely close to what the Sox achieved.

It was just friggin' petty.

Ironically, ESPN considered the Blackhawks win as #1.

Yeah, let me put it this way... There have been 23 perfect games in MLB history, and 303 no hitters.  Those dominate the news cycle, including in game interruptions for coverage.  4 consecutive homers has happened 10 times in major league history, or about twice as rare as a perfect game, for perspectives sake.
