How about Springer instead of Joc?  I say that but I do like Pederson btw.

Springer will be on the wrong side of 30. And I just don't know how comfortable I am knowing that he was part of the Astros cheating racket.

If you believe the rumors we are the front-runners for Yoelkis Cespedes, not sure they will want to do a Springer sized expenditure for RF.  That being said, Springer would make this the best offense in baseball.

I lIke the sound of either of those options.

I also love the story of Joc and his brother....Joc would be another guy very easy to root for...it is nice that the Sox have so many of those easy to get behind guys.

Dunning looked great till he ran out of gas .Same for Mize. No high wire act for Colome 2 save situations in a row. EE did his thing with 2 bombs and Abreu was what he's always been .

Collins started the comeback with a double. Called a good game and showed some catcher savvy coming out to talk to Marshall when they weren't on the same page.

Timmy drove in Collins.

Just a good team effort to reach 3 games over. 500 for the 1st time this season.

I would be very happy with a Joc Pederson acquisition.  Yes very easy to root for. And honestly knowing how the Sox work would be a little surprised if they didn't get him next year.

Dane Dunning reminded me of Shane Bieber last night.

I went back and watched the start and came to the belief the Tigers really suck. Dunning looked solid, but the Tigers were swinging at pitches that Luis Robert would have laid off of.  Too hard to say how he will look against more patient teams, but it was a promising first effort.

Let's hope it's less of this and more deception from Dunning. But you're probably right.
