caulfield12
Have to be out there somewhere in locals....Jon Greenberg, ESPN? Let’s also not forget the new White Sox media rights extension with NBC Sports Chicago is up for renegotiations in only five years again...that’s certainly looking like a great move by Sox not to get locked in disadvantageously for 10-15-20 years based upon horrific 2013-2018 numbers/tv ratings. I think both sides discussed the Sox contending for the foreseeable future, and anticipated a ratings jump.
southsider2k5
There seems to be two factors, #1, people who are cooped up and looking for any NEW TV. Even the exhibition games were up WAY over a normal broadcast. #2, the team is really good and exciting for the first time since 2012 at least. I bet ratings are up 40 to 50% over last year once the numbers start coming in.
