Elcaballo45
Well, we as chicago fans like to throw the towel in early... One bad thing happens and its the end of the world... plenty of baseball left, and Pudge is sure to do something miraculous before this game is over go fish! Flash Tizzle
Just remember.....Cubs never do anything the easy way. There will be a battle in the game. Just like yesterday, the Cub fans will be all happy then the s*** will collapse.

Wise Master Buehrle
You know, I was just trying to spin a counter jynx type of thing because all those guys said that the Marlins were goign to win for sure. They shouldn't do that!
LowerCaseRepublican
Yup, just turned off the TV. Anybody else dislike Alou as much as Sosa? Something about that smile on that guys face that just gets WAY under my skin. He seems like a pompous ass. Alou did come to the defense of Steve Bartman though saying that he just wanted a souveneir and that nobody thinks that snagging a foul ball will affect the outcome of the game. Which I thought was pretty classy despite his tirade right after the event happened.
Kid Gleason
Well, the Marlins are in this thing. "We" are actually sitting around spread out across this country (and others) watching it on the TV trying to figure out what happened. If he had condemned the man, or made a stupid remark like Lord Baker did, then the city would have hunted the guy down right then and there for sure. Alou said what had to be said. But yes, it was nice to hear him speak rationally on the topic.
MurcieOne
The Cubs winning the NLCS isnt the end of the world! It's unfortunate that our team isnt here... but whitesox fans have nothing to be ashamed of... we beat this team 4 of 6 in the regular season, and our best player doesnt cork his bat. It't not the end of the world, but it isn't good for White Sox fandom, and it can only hurt the attendance that much more. Plus, we will have to bow to the Cubs fans for truely having the superior team, and our 4 out of 6 will mean s*** if they can flaunt a Series ring. And who exactly is our best player any way? CWSOX45
Wood is already past 80 pitches. I don't think he'll go past the six if the Marlins keep fouling pitches off. I still have a feeling Florida will pull this off somehow, someway. CWSOX45

MurcieOne
Correct. But I think next year the cross town series could be kinda lousy for us. But we shall see. Wood and Prior both arent going to be pitching much next season. all this pitching has to be taking its toll. I know Jason agrees with me.... he's rooting for the cubs to. Kid Gleason
Last thing I heard on the TV though before I shut it off was that the Cubs will go to Zambrano. I would rather them choose Clement. But ya know, just get into Zambonies head, and he will f*** it all up for them. I take it that since nobody is talking about the game we are still at a 5-3 score? No, please, don't tell me. I want to be surprised when I turn it back on.

LowerCaseRepublican
I was just thinking about this. For all those people that drove and parked near Wrigley, they're f***ed either way. Cubs lose = cars get flipped Cubs win = cars get flipped
