I think we all agree that Dane isn't going 9, even without giving up a hit.

So IMO, if he isn't going to finish it anyway, then there isn't much difference between 5 and 6. Stick to your original pitch count, and if that was 80, pull him.

Dunning stepping up as a #3 down the stretch would be a godsend.

Gotta be smart, we're in a playoff race and he could be a wildcard for us down the line.  I don't mind the pen being up now.

Agreed, I think that is it for Dunning but we need him stretched out for 90-100 pitches within the next couple weeks
