daggins
I assume they'll trade for one or two relievers. Kinda thinking an SP upgrade doesn't happen.

Bob Sacamano
Going into the deadline, I was hoping we trade for a starter (still could). Also hoping for Dunning to run away with a rotation spot over the next month. I really don't want to count on Cease in the postseason. EloyJenkins
A's got Minor. Rangers are selling. Leaves just Twins, Yankees and Sox as the only Lynn suitors.
SonofaRoache
We have to remember one thing. We acquired all of this major league young controllable talent to win a few titles. Once your major league squad does this, prospects will need to be traded to help the team win it all and free agents will need to be signed to help out as well. Our everyday roster is loaded with Vaughn ready to contribute and our staff has 2 dependable pitchers for the next 3 years after now. We can trade Kopech or Dunning if we get a controllable arm. However, we better sign another good pitcher this offseason if we do so to ensure we have a competitive rotation. Gio, trade, FA, DK, would need to be here through 2023. We will also need to draft BPA to acquire more pitching as needed if it comes to it. This is the life of being a non free spending contensing team. Enjoy these 7 years of great baseball because it is once in a lifetime for us. We don't know if it will happen again in our lifetime. If anyone actually tested positive the game would be off. The Engel situation of "on the IL until we're sure they're clear after possible exposure" hasn't yet involved canceling games, but MLB is now quite clear that the moment a confirmed case pops up, even among staff, the doors close and people isolate for a couple days.
