He was cut from the Giants because they suck and didn't want to start an old guy. He will have a home on a contender for the next 3-4 years because he can defend. Since 2017 he has the 2nd lowest zone % (pitches thrown in the zone) in all of baseball. He throws 36.5% of his pitches for strikes.
