He isn't suppose to be throwing 30 pitches let alone 40. I wouldnt expect him to have good stuff at that point.
Chris Sale
Colome is the one of the most ridiculous closers I think I’ve ever seen. He really does almost never blow a game but it literally seems like he’s blowing it every single time.
RudyLawRules
So our closer had 40 pitches and Cishek was warming up. ?♂️ We'll only go as far as the bullpen help Hahn got us at the deadline takes us. Oh wait...
Jerksticks
Here for the Colome Rentería takes. For once I think that was some terrible managing. And I’m easier on Ricky than most. He just threw half a start
Tnetennba
Sox need a laugher tomorrow after that inning. Yikes.

Yeah the Sox have been winning despite his 0.68 ERA coming into tonight. 1 1
chw42
The Royals never give up against us. Our last few wins have been huge pains in the ass.

ChiSoxFanMike
The bullpen situation is going to be really interesting tomorrow. We better pray that Giolito goes at least 6 or 7 strong innings
Vulture
Even when the Royals suck they are still my least favorite divisional rival. I don't even dislike the Indians or Tigers, just want to beat them. I used to feel the same way about the Twins, but I've started to dislike them in the last year. Something about the Royals, they always seem to be a bunch of pricks.

He’s walks a tight rope seemingly every other appearance. He’s gotten out of it most nights. Magic only lasts so long... It's been lasting for years. He's gotten the job done since he put on a Sox uniform. His whip was around 0.85 a couple nights ago. Hard to blow games when you give up one run in 13.2 innings. He has given up 2 homeruns in more than 75 innings with the Sox. Claiming the Sox are winning in spite of him is LUDICROUS. Sox infield had to put up a clown show for him to blow a game. Maybe we can clone Mariano Rivera and make you happy. Edited September 5, 2020 by Vulture
