chw42
Cubs blew their 2 run lead to the Indians. Now tied in the bottom of the 9th. 6 games up on the Indians pretty much wraps up 2nd place for us.

Maybe they decided on how much he could go. Good lord. Yeah another 7 pitches would've really fucked him up

Obviously not mathematically guaranteed, but I am really confident we win at least one of Gio and DK's starts the next two days, especially facing Maeda, who isn't a lefty but who the sox apparently think is a lefty so they will crush due to placebo effect. Leaving this series with a 3 game lead and the tie breaker, I think we get it done. Lock it in boys and girls, I'm riding or dying with this prediction.
thxfrthmmrs
I was hoping for a split on this series and mission accomplished. But why stop now? Let's get greedy and pile it on tomorrow!

Jack Parkman
Adding a healthy Moncada to this lineup next year is going to be like adding Rendon or Machado. I mean....it's going to be unfair to opposing pitchers. Then Vaughn as well. They can get away with Engel in RF. They might have to choose. I mean....I'd love to add Conforto or Nimmo but I think the aforementioned Pederson/Engel platoon is more likely. There are cheap alternatives to Engel that would still allow us to upgrade the rotation.

The Sox were and would continue to be just fine without Jace Fry. I don't think that would be the case without Colome Make sense now?
