Light a fire under their asses.  Maybe youve never played a team sport, but sometimes its needed

And sometimes it does no good. For all the criticisms of Ricky, we've heard nary a word of his handling of the clubhouse the last couple of years, which is a good thing, and probably his most valuable attribute.

It's simply a young team pressing as they are a contender for the first time for so many of these guys.

I played football in college. Baseball isn't a sport where players can get fired up after a coach yells at them. Our guys that are struggling are putting forth effort. Some just suck, some are young, and some are just in a typical slump.

Yelling is necessary if a team is playing lazy, making mental errors, etc. These guys just aren't hitting. I was one who wanted more starts for McCann, but now he can't hit for shit nor can he catch a pop up. It's simply a slump at a poor time

His numbers aren't even close to Abreu's.

Nope. And everyone is talking about his last six games, but José has been torrid for over half the season. He’s also the centerpiece of what’s been a great offense, whereas Ramirez is the only bulb glowing in a dogshit offense.

What is chewing the guys out gonna do? They aren't gonna magically hit top notch pitching and beat hot teams because they are getting yelled at.

Ozzie won one time, primarily the result of a top veteran staff. There are multiple reasons why he’s out of baseball.

Buehrle 214 Wins

Garcia 156 Wins

Garland 136 Wins

Contreras 78 Wins on his 30s (Cuba in 20s)

Keuchel  90 Wins

Giolito 31 Wins

Cease 9 Wins

Dunning 2 Wins
