A young guy like Jirschele might have to swallow a Coop but the top tier guys will insist on picking their own people.
Harold's Leg Lift
Rick called Tim this morning to tell him because Tim is the leader of this team.

southsider2k5
The job changes with big data. Tools change, and you have to keep up with it. Does mention that this is not because guys who are out didn't embrace big data., Both had faclity with big data.
Dick Allen
It is pretty obvious these guys are gone because of the bullpen the last week. RR made some bad decisions and Coop was either on board or didn't speak up.

Very, very telling Hahn gave Cooper credit for Buehrle, Garland and Sale but didn’t mention Giolito

hogan873
What a great day for the Sox. RR is a great guy, but he showed that he was not able to take this team to the next level. The team that will be a perennial contender is going to need someone with experience. I'll be really surprised if the Sox don't end up hiring Hinch or Cora. Then, who would the new manager bring in as the pitching coach? Hopefully someone who will be willing to use statistical analysis and be ready for new technology. southsider2k5
Madrigal had shoulder surgery as expected, had been planned on previous injury separation, this is to stop it from happening. Out 5 to 6 months. Could be on rehab when spring roles around. Jose Ruiz, had minuscus repair in knee. Eloy foot sprain, also should be fine in next couple of weeks No other surgeries.
