southsider2k5
Kopech has been connected with MiLB coaches to work on his program going forward. Has stayed connected to team, even recommending a hire for the team who had been let go by another organization. Will be tough to over come missing two years, and building up going forward, but no question he is a part of the team going forward.
Tnetennba
Kopech has been on a throwing program all winter and has been in contact with coaches and staff. Hahn said zero mystery with him.
southsider2k5
Crochet immediate futures is still TBD in terms of going to minors to work as a starter, or join team as a reliever. Does think long terms is a starter.

Honestly, with like a month of pro ball under his belt, I wouldn't be shocked if they signed a DH to a one year deal. Or a guy, for example, Brantly or Brent Gardner if his option is declined, to DH and play some LF. Nokona
Crochet may be the long man in the pen next year, depending on how the minor leagues look next year. Maybe late year call up to manage workload.

southsider2k5
Could use Crochet as a multi inning reliver going forward to build innings, if a MiLB season does happen, could use him as a starter there and then eventually back to Chicago to manage workload. Does call him a potential impactful starter.

flavum
Hahn sounds like he already hired a new manager. The way he’s speaking is just way too open for him.
southsider2k5
No MGR hiring timeline. Currently vetting their list. Might need to wait to talk to potential candidates who could be busy right now.

southsider2k5
Spanish speaking will be important for next coaching staff, but not necessarily the manager himself.

Girardi was a poor example but given that the Phillies have a new GM...you never know. Since we now know that Coop is out...the point is moot.
