Danny Dravot
Weir is getting a lot of shit from MAGAsphere right now, but I find this pretty funny. Misogynistic? Nah. Loeffler got a job at an investment bank and shortly thereafter married the CEO. Now worth $165 million. I'm all for the American dream and bootstrapping, but this isn't a good argument for it. FWIW, I was also one of the few conservatives who laughed his ass off when Pete Davidson said Dan Crenshaw (who I like) looked like a hitman in a porno. caulfield12
Even so, the JPMorgan strategist laid out several developments that could cast doubt on that outcome, including that one or more states submit competing slates of electors. Those competing slates would then be resolved January 6 by the new Congress through rules spelled out in the Electoral Count Act of 1887. "The nightmare scenario for markets," according to Cembalest, would be if Senate Republicans declare the ECA unconstitutional, flip three states in Trump's favor to give him the required 270 electoral votes and Democrats refuse to participate. "All of which sets up the prospect of dueling inaugurations," Cembalest wrote, noting that this outcome was only "narrowly averted" in 1876. Another risk laid out by Cembalest is if Barr directs investigators to "seize or impound election records" to probe for voter fraud, slowing down the process. https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/18/business/stock-market-election-trump-jpmorgan/index.html Edited November 19, 2020 by caulfield12

First of all, trust me, Biden will have majorities in the Senate AND House to work with following the Georgia runoffs. I've never been more sure of anything, just as I was positive Joe had the election in the bag. This is a done deal; Senate is going Democrat majority (Kamala has the deciding vote if tied). Be that as it may, Joe actually still has a chance to get a few things done if somehow the Senate and House were split. That's ONLY IF he is the regular, upstanding, grandfatherly, nice guy, good politician Joe that he's been for 50 years. If he is just Kamala's puppet and AOC's puppet and comes in blazing about radical issues like defund the police, adding 2 new states, 480,000 bucks reparations for every Black family, incredible tax hikes on the little guy, taking away guns, letting everyone out of prison via Kaepernick's demand, refusing to tell the FBI to look harder into Antifa, agreeing with weak mayors and governors who won't prosecute rioters ... forget it. It'll be WAR just as it's been with Trump. Regular Joe ... he might be one of the great presidents ever. Following the radicals Joe ... ugh, he will be in so many fights with the Jim Jordans, etc., it'll make our heads spin. Dick Allen
Quote This entire exercise is just for show. It doesn't matter if it will hurt our country or cost lives. It's for Donald Trump's ego and his grift. Attorneys representing President Trump’s re-election campaign in challenging thousands of ballots in Bucks County on Wednesday agreed to sign court documents informing the court that there was no evidence of fraud or misconduct pertaining those ballots." I’d put good money on it that Biden doesn’t win the majority, given how the house is trending to be more divided with what happened in this election. I bet they win one seat of the two, if any at all. 2022 will probably be worse for democrats, even if they pick up seats in the senate, because historically they will lose seats in the house. I also say book it that none of what you fear will happen. Keep in mind that Kaepernick isn’t aligned with the Democratic Party and neither is Antifa, at least financially. As I have repeatedly stated, his members who want progressive ideas are not in the majority and any legislation that gets worked on needs to pass through the senate. In divided government there needs to be compromise instead of spooning one way of government down the other party’s throat, plain and simple. Joe Biden discussed compromise in his speech, we will just need to see how that plays out. He still will probably fight with members of the freedom caucus anyway. It will be interesting to see which republicans will go all Trumpian in Congress and if Mitch McConnell’s strange adversarial yet productive relationship with Joe Biden yields anything or if he remains obstructionist just like in Obama’s second term. hogan873
Trump is getting exactly what he wants: attention. The election is over, and Biden will be sworn in on January 20. All this nonsense with the lawsuits and dumbass electors refusing to certify the election is just that - nonsense. But all of the news agencies are talking about Trump, still. And they're not talking about Biden and Harris and what they are working on. Every 60 minute show on MSNBC and CNN is 35 minutes of Trump talk, 15 minutes of commercials, 5 minutes of COVID talk, and 5 minutes of talk about the next president. Exactly, and while Trump would never risk losing again and actually run for president, he will declare himself a candidate for the campaign money, and hold rallies and tweet, and go on Fox and Friends to tell us about the stock market crash that is about to hit since he no longer is in the WH. How the suburbs are being phased out, and how the churches are all closing. His son actually said Donald Trump saved Christianity. Just more of his grift, as Rudy Giuliani wants $20k a day to embarrass himself as he sees his part of the grift coming to a close. We, right now, are in the phase where he will most go away, as he doesn't even attempt to fake his job anymore.
