They did, but so did Oregon St.

That Thompson kid can really play.  And Alatishe can jump out of the gym.

Villanova had Baylor down 7 at half, ran away in the end as Villanova’s depth/injury issues finally came to the fore.

ORU surprisingly up 7 on ARK at half.

This day really is going to suck if Syracuse makes yet another Elite and we have to hear more about the Boeheims.

Oregon State almost completed the comeback from way down against Houston but ran out of gas in the attempt.

Looks like Baylor is already threatening to blow ARK out of the gym.

Can't wait for USC/Gonzaga, Michigan (hopefully) vs. Baylor and whoever's left to play Gonzaga in the championship game.  Would be insane if Michigan makes it without Livers.  At any rate, Juwan Howard definitely deserves to be Coach of the Year, if it's not Few, Drew or Underwood.

Gonzaga/USC hasn't been much to wait for. Not sure Gonzaga vs anybody is worth waiting for at this point.

Already saw this story with Iowa during the regular season.

And Iowa had that done to them by Oregon in the tourney, then USC ran all over Oregon, etc.

The Michigan/UCLA game SHOULD be either a really close one or a Michigan fairly easy win.  Which means that UCLA will clearly blow out the Wolverines hanging in there without their best player.

How many chances are the Wolverines going to get here at the end...?

Unless UCLA can shock Gonzaga, we're left waiting for Gonzaga/Baylor, as it has seemed all season long to be destiny (minus the Michigan and Illinois runs).

Down and out goes the Big 10 season that looked so promising just weeks ago.

Really didn't prove themselves outside of conference (other than a few rare examples like B10/ACC, and the ACC was way down this year)...and it showed.

Well, one thing's for sure, without Livers there's no way Michigan was going to stop Gonzaga...

They could have had Livers and Jalen Rose and they weren’t going to stop Gonzaga.

Would love to have watched this Gonzaga team against those late 80's/early 90's UNLV teams.

Or Loyola Marymount with Kimble/Gathers, haha.

Did ANYONE like the switch from THUR-SUN to FRI-MON/SAT-TUES?

I understand Covid-19 and all, but staying up until midnight (blowing off work) and watching those late games in Utah or somewhere out west that first Thursday of games was always something worth looking forward to.

Howard blew that game by putting Dickinson back in. Dickinson regressed so much as the season went on, and Davis gave them so much more energy off the bench.  Kudos to Juzang, he looks like a professional.

A Michigan alum coaching his alma mater to defeat in a big game--looks like sports are completely back to normal.
