I have no idea - but any choice Hoiberg comes back? It isn't like Nebraska has dominated and its home for Fred and seems like the timing would make sense from ISU perspective? What actually happened to Iowa State this year? Was it injuries or just a massive talent issue (i.e., they lost ability to recruit)? Its okay - Iowa will lose to Grand Canyon and be one and done. They were really hard hit by COVID, recruiting misses, and Haliburton and THT were not expected to be guys that only stuck around a year or two, but the guys brought in to replace them simply haven't been good enough. Sucks for GT, as they would have won easily with a healthy Wright. Assuming Loyola wins, they should get creamed by Illinois.

CentralChamps21
First Ohio State loses and now Purude. They should have had the Big Ten teams all play in Bloomington. They're used to winning there.
Soxbadger
Wisconsin game was just not what I expected, they always lose to UNC early. So now its hilarious that Wisconsin will be only 1 or 2 teams to ever beat UNC in the first round.

EJ Liddell carried them for most of that game...he’s kind of a tweener because of his height and potential NBA position, but he can really play. Does he go pro? State of Texas 5-0 so far but likely to lose Abilene Christian to Texas matchup. Will be interesting to see if Michigan can recover from loss of Livers. They could go out in round of 32 or definitely Sweet 16.

caulfield12
VCU out of tourney for Covid-19 positives. As an Iowa fan, Oregon gets to rest but not getting that first game out of the way also can be a disadvantage as well. 23 years since their last Sweet 16 under Dr. Tom Davis. JUSTgottaBELIEVE
This Illinois-Loyola game is going to be a war. Mid majors showing up big time so far this tourney. First time ever four 13 seeds or worse have advanced to the second round.

thxfrthmmrs
Loyola is showing why they should have been much higher than an 8th seeded. Their D is forcing a lot of turnovers for the Illini, which has been one of Illinois’s weakness this year.
