elrockinMT
Reading the stories on the managerial search it is written that a new person has been in the White Sox' scope for manager. Any clue who might be looked at? I hope it's Carlton Fisk myself, but I like to dream too.
southsider2k5
I saw the name of Nick Levya mentioned for the first time today. I don't know if there is anyone besides that.

Guest JimH
Robin Yount is the "under the radar" candidate. My dad says there's been some talk about it from Arizona (papers, sports radio, etc.)
Al Lopez Ghost (old)
I was under the impression it was Levya too.

If that is the same guy that I think it is, than I play hockey at the U of A with his son Casey. That would be awesome, although I don't know what kind of experience he has. winninguglyin83
probably Nick Leyva. long time cardinal coach in the days of the White Rat and Ozzie Smith believe he was also coach with Blue Jays He's 50 won only 44 percent of his games in 2 seasons and 13 games with the Phillies fregosi replaced him in Philly and eventually took the team to the Series. he's been in the Sox farm system for a few years. Was at Charlotte for a bit, then dropped down to manage Bristol in the Appy League the last two years. We can do better.
Chisoxfn
I know quite a few people within the organization are big Levya fans so it doesn't come as a real shock that he's getting considered. I actually think most in the organization prefer him to Backman and would of said it even before the lastest reports on Backman. I still think it will be Yount or Guillen. winninguglyin83
Either yount or Guillen would be fine with me more interested in how we shape our pitching staff.
Al Lopez Ghost (old)
You don't know who Robin Yount is? *shaking head* I think he's talking about Levya.
