flavum
175 hits a year from age 24 to 40. Good luck. Get to 1000 by the 2026 all-star break and we’ll talk.

Ducksnort
Well, he definitely has the confidence. I'm a big believer in Nick, but he almost sounded a little cocky...which may not be a bad thing. Let's see what happens when the game humbles him. I don't think that's happened, like, really happened, yet.
hogan873
Scrappy little dude like him could do it. It would be quite the feat, but not impossible. Love the confidence, though.

Just saying it's doable and he believes in himself. If he didn't that'd be a much bigger issue.

Dick Allen
Starlin Castro is about to turn 31. He has over 1600 hits. He had a decent shot at 3000 but started really sucking and a Covid season probably ruined any chance.
Leonard Zelig
Will Nick maintain his rookie status this year? His ABs shouldn’t make him lose it, but his service time may. Not sure when he got called up or how his IL time counts.

CWSpalehoseCWS
I have no issue with this. I’d rather have a guy set high expectations for himself than none at all. But there’s no way he’s getting there batting 9th.

South Side Hit Men
No player should talk about 3,000 hits before they reach 3,000 at bats, and it's an open question at this point Nick reaches that plateau. Between COVID and the CBA, it may take him until his age 26 season to become the All Time White Sox Hit Leader named Nick.
