sox-r-us
As-BoSox series was fantastic and went 5 games Cubs-Braves series was very good too and went 5 games Cubs-Marlins went 7 Yanks-Bo Sox went 7 Marlins-Giants went 4 but was pretty exciting with the Marlins winning two very exciting games Yankees-Twinkies went 4 and was a bore relative to other series IMHO, this has been the best MLB playoffs in a long time....maybe ever. Your thoughts? Who can disagree with that. Four out of 6 series go to maximum amount of games. The only that could have made it better would be if we were celebrating the White Sox defeating the Yankees tonight.
sox-r-us
I am a huge hockey and football fan, but for the first time in a long time, I come home excited only to watch the baseball playoffs. Bud Selig must be a very happy man.....he would have been happier if the Cubs and Bo Sox had made it, but I think the Marlins-Yanks will be exciting too. Go Marlins....spank the spankmees

Go Marlins....spank the spankmees I think this going to be a great World Series. The Marlins don't know that they "aren't good enough" and play accordingly. Without knowing the pitching matchups, I'm gonna say the Yankees in 7.
DBAHO
Certainly been many memorable moments in practically every game.
Al Lopez Ghost (old)
Really the only team that failed too distinguish itself was Minnesota! Damn shame.
southsider2k5
I hate to say it but the Yankees are going to trash the Marlins in about 5 games.
Harry Chappas
I think the Marlins are going to do alright. If they get starting pitching from Penny and Redman, I think they may win. The Yankees starting pitching can be had by the Marlins.
CubKilla
I hate to say it but the Yankees are going to trash the Marlins in about 5 games. Considering you said the Cubs/Marlins series was over before Game 6, I'm going to call up Vegas and put some money on the Marlins SS2k3=Jinx
CubKilla
Really the only team that failed too distinguish itself was Minnesota! Damn shame. Minnesota had no business being in this years playoffs. Neither did the White Sox who, as an Organization, failed to make ALL the necessary moves to get to the PostSeason. ChiSox_Sonix
i think the Marlins pull this off. Game 1: Probably Willis vs Wells: Willis was good this year before people had seen him. The Yankee$ have never seen him and i think will somewhat struggle. Meanwhile, Pierre and Castillo SHOULD bunt their way on against Wells who cant field his position well. That will draw the infield in even more. Game 2: Penny vs Petitte: most likely Yankee$ win but Penny is capable of throwing gems. Game 3: Beckett vs Mussina: I would say Beckett gives the Marlins a great chance to win this game Game 4: Redman vs Clemens: Clemens is not the pitcher he once was, Redman will probably struggle though. This series will go at least 6 games. I've followed Florida ever since they came into the league and i've seen many games of theirs this year on T.V. They just dont believe they can lose. They beat Prior and Wood who are better than any Yankee$ pitcher (except maybe Mussina) in my opinion. Yankee stadium is a small park. That helps the Marlins. They dont have much power, but a small park down the lines neutralizes that weakness. The Yankee$ meanwhile are a power team, and that will come to hurt them in Pro Player. Before the playoffs started i predicted Marlins over Red Sox in 7 in the World Series on the espn board. I'll stick with Marlins in 7 against the Yankee$. No one is giving them the credit that they truly deserve. They are a good team, who is gonna be good for a while. Next year they lose in all likelyhood Castillo, Fox, and maybe Urbina, thats it. But as for now, dont be surprised at ALL if the Marlins win. The way they play is phenomenal. If the Sox played with half their heart this year, they probably overtake the Twins. The Marlins' attitude is great, they never get down and in turn, are winning games.....and wil win 4 more before the season is over

Gene Honda Civic
So far this has been the best playoffs I can remember. But I doubt it will be remebered that way. The World Series is what everyone remembers. The Series has to be a great one to make this year a great playoff year.
CubsSuck1
Best I personally have ever seen, even though thats not sayin much. But even more that the series have gon down to the final game, but also so many come from behind victories, almost every game has kept me on the edge of my seat. Add a couple of curses, and you got yourself a pretty good playoffs, cant wait for the marlins to win it all.
clujer420
The ratings for the Red Sox/Yankees series were HUGE. I heard that the games have been getting ratings in the 20's -- the biggest ratings baseball has gotten in years.
Bighurt52235
I've been watching since 1997 (Not long at all), but this is far and away the best October I've ever seen, and I just hope that the World Series kicks ass, with a victory by the Fightin Fish of Florida. whitesox247
If by greatest playoffs you mean a playoff full of choker teams, then definately.
