Rodon was consistently 93-94 and was able to get it all the way up to 97-98.

Where did you get the data?

Curious. Is it on baseball savant?

I haven't been able to figure out how to get the in-game velo readings.

Was more interested if Crochet started to ramp it up a bit, or if his velo has backed up a few ticks.

It's going to suck if Rodon finally figures it out/gets healthy only to go elsewhere and have success after this year. '

He's so unreliable I've just accepted that though.

Why would it suck? Sox gave him another chance. If he is solid this season, they will re-sign him

Respectfully, you worry way too much about future seasons.

Respectfully, I want the Sox to make the playoffs in consecutive seasons for the first time in team history. IMO until they pull that off "sustained success" (whatever that is) is a pipedream.

No, 2020 doesn't count. They finished in 3rd place.

Wouldn’t him being good this year help them make the postseason, which would then be consecutive appearances?

16 team playoffs in a 60 game season is a one time farce that is and always has been a joke.

The 2016 Sox would have made the playoffs after 60 games.

The Sox were tied for 2nd, 1 game out of first. You act like they snuck in while 10 games back.
