Texsox
https://www.inquirer.com/phillies/philadelphia-phillies-scott-kingery-20210330.html Hmm, anyone in the Sox organization facing a similar start?
Harold's Leg Lift
Another swing change victim. I hope he's able to get back to what he was.
bmags
I think the swing isn't working but a lot of that stuff in there is just "he didn't work out so it must be all this stuff". I mean bragging that he hit .350 in Arizona? Lol.
Harold's Leg Lift
There's a lot more to it than that article. He went to one of those hitting guru wonks and his swing and numbers fell off a cliff. Now they have him working with a Driveline guy which I'm not sure is going to get him back to where he wants to be. Kingery’s bat path had shifted to too much of an uppercut over the years, contributing to a career strikeout rate of nearly 28%. https://www.philliesnation.com/2021/03/inside-the-phillies-plan-to-fix-former-top-prospect-scott-kingery/

Sheets? Collins? It's also going to be interesting to see how Burger fares this year (with the glaring arm bar swing issue)...and will also keep one eye out on Adolfo in his last chance with the Sox. The thing is, that Kingery's dad was always a speed guy, doubles/triples, walks, solid defense, getting on base, stolen bases...seems like he got caught up in all the homer mania and tried too much to change his basic game that was working in past years.
