It doesn't matter, because Hahn has no choice but to go down with the ship one way or the other with Moncada or Robert.

The whole rebuild revolves around those two being superstars and adding Kopech/Cease/Crochet as the third, as it has to be one of those three pitchers unless they suddenly start becoming a free spending team.

The comparisons between Javy Baez and Robert offensively and defensively aren't off by much, IMO.

In fact, you could argue that if you were going to discard Madrigal, Baez has the most upside (buying low) if you surrounded him with all the young talent on the White Sox and he didn't feel the offense pressure he does with the Cubs.

That said, you only want so many "feast or famine" hitters in a line-up.

There has to be some balance.

The Sox lead major league baseball in walk rate. No idea how they're a feast or famine offense.

Javy Baez has a career walk rate that is one of the lowest in baseball history 4.7% while also striking out nearly 29% of the time.

Luis Robert has a walk rate near 10% this year and 9% on his young career despite periods of struggling. He also has reduced his k rate already (BB/K numbers become predictable pretty quickly by 6% vs last year.

Your entire post is complete nonsense.

This has nothing to do with the insanely dumb post I originally quoted.

this post is extremely hyperbolic. It’s still the first month of the season and we’re missing 2 of our 4 or 5 best hitters. Not to mention you’re dooming the entire franchise based on the tendencies of 2 guys that haven’t even sniffed the prime of their careers yet. Relax man, smoke a joint or something. If you’re this insane after 10 regular season baseball games how do you manage to get through life?

What is the old adage about bringing closers into tie games...even at home?

That said, I honestly don't know who else Tony should go to.

Foster or Ruiz...?

He's going to get second-guessed no matter what happens because of how many leads we've already watched disappear.
