I said that by late spring already, the book on Vaughn is out, away, away away with an occasional brush back pitch in to keep him honest. 

He Really needs to work on hitting that as he won't get as many mistakes as he did in the minors. 

Right now he can't handle that but that is OK, young guys need to learn to adjust.

Not only do his tools look pretty average or underwhelming across the board aside from extreme contact ability, but every time he does something good or has a good game he has to do something else to lessen his previous achievements or negate them entirety.

I still like Danny Mendick better.

Once it hits the dirt, it becomes more difficult than a throw not in the dirt.  But keep making excuses for him. You won’t see many weaker throws in professional baseball.
