Looking at the forecast yesterday, it appeared there was a decent chance this or the next game would be postponed. Now the forecast calls for a slight chance of rain late tonight and early tomorrow. Rodon pitched well here in the cold last time, and it will be cold and blustery tonight.

Tony left him in for 110 pitches in Cleveland after 114 pitches for the no-no. Carlos' health has prevented him from starting more than 20 games in a year since Obama was president (2016). I hope the Sox are prepared to pull him after 90-100 pitches max tonight, regardless of the score or chance of "a credited win". Tony's job may be to "win today", but it cannot be at the cost of player health.

He forgot this yesterday, from the lineup to the horrific decision to ignore the 2 innings of bad misses from Giolito and leaving him in there when what happened was clearly going to happen

Flushing last night.  Hoping against better judgment that TLR learned something from the blowback to his decision on Giolito (I'm past hoping that he'll kick his addiction to his veteran toys until Engel comes back).  Let's get started on winning this series.

Yep. Stinky turds gotta be flushed eventually. Flushed but not forgotten.

Stoney just said on the radio that Grandal is “trying to set a record for most groundouts to second base in a season”

Stone rips Grandal mercilessly. He has since last year. Careful Stoney. Don't want another Cubs situation.

The scapegoating of grandal has gotten a little out of hand. I understand it’s just love for the team manifesting itself in weird ways, but if you’re going to have an irrational hate for a stranger try to be less irrational about it. As Steve brule says, it’s for your health.

Grandal's contract is probably the reason why this team didn't pursue any big name free agents in the offseason. The criticism has not gotten out of hand. He is our shiny expensive toy...and this toy has a no-refund policy. It better start working eventually...

If $18 million to one player precudes us from signing other good players, then this rebuild has already failed
