Balls that slice away from you in center for a non center fielder are really weird. You do not see many of them. That's why you don't just put people out in CF

Typically the easier part of center is you don't deal with much slice and your reads are true

Yermin sees the ball so well it's absolutely insane

That's just a natural ability that most don't have

His first home run is the most impressive to me. He has 2 strikes, so he completely ditches his big leg kick in order to make better contact. He's so strong that he hit it out without loading up on his front foot. It's so impressive.

He was clearly fooled.

I am not sure how you swing at the same exact pitch 3 times in a row when it wasn't close

Guys don't have that type of command your entire life. Guys can't triple you up with a slider like that in the same spot at every other level. Vaughn  will adjust. He always does.

His two strike approach shows how advanced he is as a hitter.

I love how vs some some shit pitchers that he's seeing the ball great against he leg kicks with two strikes. It's really offensive to the pitcher and I absolutely enjoy it. Can't remember who it was against but it happened this year. He was seeing it great and didn't ditch it with two strikes and crushed the ball
