Just stop.

I love just love how every dude is up for criticism except yermin. The dude who can’t play a position and isn’t hitting well. Please do tell why he’s untouchable. It’s entirely ridiculous how a dude not good enough to make an mlb roster unless there are major injuries is somehow untouchable when it comes to criticism. If it’s because Tony was mean to him people need to grow the f up.

This team is good.

First 4 game sweep in over 60 years.... Lol.

Gio is back. So is Hendriks.

Nick Madrigal has been hitting the ball really well.. DON'T FUCKING BUNT WITH HIM, TLR.

Madrigal should be left hitting second.  Set the table for Yoan and Jose with minimal strike outs.

Because it is incredibly stupid to criticize the dude that has carried the team for the first 6 weeks with no replacement on the roster. With Lamb hitting well, you can platoon him with Yermin and Vaughn from time to time, but Yermin is here to stay for a while.

He’s here to stay until a real mlb player is available.  He also hasn’t carried the Sox lmfao yesterday was his first day hitting for power in a month.

He has an irrational hate for Yermin.  Logic has no place here.

There's valid criticism, and then there's blind criticism. He hit two absolute rockets today. They just happened to get caught. That's baseball. He's a rookie and he's going to have ups and downs. Is this your first time watching baseball, or what?

Except it’s okay to say yo-yo looks like 2018 yo-yo when he has a bad game but it’s not okay to say yermin isn’t a legit mlb player. Dude isn’t here long term. Everyone knows that he’s only here because eloy is hurt. He’s gonna be the first dude sent down when he’s back get used to it . He has no legit future on the Sox

Are people already forgetting when he was hitting over .400 for a month when Abreu, Moncada, and Vaughn were ice cold?

Then he went an entire month without adjusting and still hasn’t adjusted and can’t play a single position

You don't think he carried the offense for the first few weeks of the year? Without him they may only be 6-7 over .500

So you keep saying. Over and over and over again. Right now he's on the White Sox, and is a big reason the Sox have won as many games as they have. The guy has 7 HR, 29 RBI, and .883 OPS. Nobody thought he was going to hit .400 all season.... This is what's called normalization.

????? why you so mad?

Because any other dude who hits for power once a month and can’t play a position wound be crucified on here but a dude who is a career minor league player who was picked on by tony and suddenly he’s awesome lol

Have fun watching him when he hits a homer once every month with no extra base hits

It's like you are actively rooting for Yermin to fail, lol. I also have my doubts about Yermin long term but I'm rooting for him to prove me wrong, I want him to succeed...did he kick your dog or what?

It’s fair to say Mercedes has had a huge drop off in May (OPS .666 through yesterday). It’s clear pitchers have made successful adjustments, but that doesn’t mean Yermin can’t adjust back as he did after working with Menechino during the series in KC.

It’s as premature to write him off today as it was when posters were calling to trade Eloy to make room for Mercedes at DH in the “conundrum” thread after a few weeks.

Baseball has a way of sorting itself one way or another. I’m hopeful Mercedes plays well and stays on the squad for years. If he does not, I’m grateful he carried the Sox offense in April, before other bats began to emerge in May.

For sure it is where he will end up IMO.  His bat control skills are made for the 2 hole.

Yermin isnt very good.  He had a remarkable April.  Since then - pedestrian.  Hopefully he can make adjustments because otherwise he’s going to go down as one of the biggest flash in a pan players in Sox history.  Weird why he has such a huge squad of Stans on here.
