That's the one stat I've always hated in baseball.  A pitcher getting the blown save, then the win if their team pulls it out.  Always felt they should get the blown save and the previous pitcher of record should get the W.  But it is what it is.

Liam should have to wear the Spongebob backpack instead of Crochet for a week to make up for it.

Sox need an outfielder more than they need a 2B

Agreed. 1-2 relief pitchers should be the priority, than someone who can play RF (and or CF). 2B only if Madrigal is ruled out the season, and still the fourth priority.

Grandal is getting healthy and can spell 1B for Abreu and DH if Yermin is scuffling. They should play Vaughn and Engel 4-5 games a week, play Mendick as primary 2B (has good numbers vs. RHP).

Garcia and Eaton can muddle through in RF, would play Hamilton vs. LHPs when he returns.

Watch Bummer trying to kick the ball on the comeback, if he made contact it likely goes in the huge hole into RF, possibly gets him hurt as well.

Noticed that as well. If he hackey sacks it we likely lose or at least have a new ball game.

Scored the winning run and made the defensive gem to end it.  (but that was positioning) Two-Way Danny.

For the love of God may Benetti not come up with a nickname he'll scream each time Mendick hits or fields a ball. Jason is Chris Berman's grandson.

I presume you mean that Jason is the new Chris Berman.  He cannot be Berman’s grandson, he was born in 1983!

Then you have to re-define everything about that stat.  And, what if the previous pitcher was awful, why give him the win?
