Yep, some people act like we're supposed to win every game, sucks losing but it's baseball, the very best teams still gonna lose 60 or so games at least FFS

I don't think the concern is with the loss. It is more with the dependability of Cease.

Just wanted to say this lineup is unacceptable against RHP. Mercedes and Vaughn are virtually worthless against RHP these days.

They need to call Sheets up at some point. He can't be worse than Yermin against righties.

That’s the evidence we need to get rid of  that turd yermin

Watching the Eloy play again where he jumps into the net he Does so many things wrong on that play- They teach you in a little league not to have your gloves stretched out while you’re running to the ball- he also takes a bad route to the ball- plus he is slow as shit. No he should  never played outfield ever ever again

Cease will be a lot like Rodon and figure everything out in the very very very last year with the White Sox

Eloy will help but Hahn was wrong about Vaugh's bat being ready. He has a great hit tool but it isn't there yet against RHP.

Urquidy is death on lefties.  .161/.215/.276

Thanks for update...as for watching Burdi this inning, is he just done?  Stuff isn’t even close to what he was in college and even after surgery.

Huge jump from A+ to the majors... I wish they would have given him some more burn down there.

Blacked out of this one.  How did Cease look?

Was it just a no-big-deal-didn’t-have-it type of game all pitchers have plenty of times throughout the year?

It appears his success was due to spider milk

they honestly were bound for a game like this. and you knew the Astros would be motivated with Bregman hitting the shelf for a while. Get em tomorrow. Pitching matchups look solid for rest of series and they definitely can score some runs tonight to get the taste of Cease out. All good. One game changes nothing.

No, marginal decrease in spin rate tonight. His success was due to killing the bad teams. It's a reason the Sox choose not to use him in Game 3 last year.

Nice to see the Sox are getting to Urquidy the third go around, gives them confidence for tomorrow and you never know if they add one or two more here.
