How many times have we heard that

Jose vs. fastballs over 95 MPH this year: .158 BA and .237 SLG.

Jose vs. fastballs over 95 MPH last year: .371 BA and .857 SLG.

Jose vs. fastballs over 95 MPH in 2019: .348 BA and .623 SLG.

It's night and day really.

not to mention, playing garbage teams most of the time doesn't really get your guys prepared for teams like Houston/Boston/LAA/TB/NYY

(I'm aware they split and won vs BOS/TB, but some of the games vs the aforementioned teams were ugly as fuck)

also, Sox are horrible vs pitchers they've never seen before, especially at that players home ballpark.  this series was a certain loss/blowout

Hey thanks again for the link you gave me earlier in the season. I didn't get around to using it until the inning that just finished but it's nice to have the use of it. I used bilas sports one.

Jose fucking blows now

Most of our lineup can't hit high velocity. Moncada, Grandal, and Abreu are all hitting well under .200 against high velocity fastballs. Moncada is hitting .091!

I hadn't looked this up until today, but it really validates what I've seen during games this year.

He's hit some low 90s fastballs out and he's a smart enough hitter to guess off-speed in certain counts, but his days of hitting high 90s fastball well are probably over. Father time always wins. I hope I'm wrong, but the numbers really don't do him any favors.
