CubsSuck1
Today a 37-10 win over central mich. 173 yards for Michael "The Burner" Turner, and 276 pass yards for Haldi. Tough game vs Bowling Green next week, and the week after vs. Ball state in which I will be in attendance. GO HUSKIES!
Brian
No disrespect to those Huskie fans/alum, but this whole thing is a shame. NIU could not beat beat any of the other top 25 teams. They beat an unranked Maryland, that is it. If they go undefeated, put em in a BCS bowl and they get stomped. As an SIU fan, I hated people hearing their basketball team had no chance of winning the national title but it was true. Best of luck to the Huskies, but let's be serious. That doesn't mean s***, at the time...give me a break. They won't go undefeated, and they don't deserve a BCS Bowl.

whitesox61382
I am willing to bet that Bowling Green will knock off NIU this week. Bowling Green is probably a better team AND the game is in Bowling Green. They almost beat Ohio State in Columbus(their only lose), and they are the only team that has beaten Purdue, at Purdue no less. NIU has played no top 25 calibur teams. Maryland was ranked 14th, but that just shows how worthless preseason rankings are. Alabama and Iowa State are below average teams. Mark my words, NIU will go down this week at Bowling Green. Although I must pay my respects. They had(still have) a nice run and showed some major conference teams that you can't take the lower conferences lightly, but they wont get to the BSC
