Thought there would be a winners thread already.

Mercedes and Collins drove in all 7 runs while Aaron Burr, Heuer and Bummer looked good in relief while Crochet and 27th man Jimmy Lambert did not.

However a win is a win and the Sox gained a game on Cleveland .

Sometimes it’s just about getting through the bad stretches with minimal damage.  We are playing our worst ball of the season but Cleveland isn’t really making a move.  Actually gained ground this series.  Hopefully we turn it around soon and start adding to that lead.

Yes, the season is long and full of terrors.

they also faced astros in a red hot stretch and Mariners in a hot stretch, and Sox are not in a hot stretch.

They need to do better than a 2-7 record though. But hopefully can tread a .500 record to ASB.

While the Sox have Minnesota on the Docket the Indians are doing the Houston/ Tampa run that the Sox had recently.

If the Sox can split with Minny and Detroit I think there is clarity as to how this plays out in the second half.
