The problem with our lineup is that the guys that are supposed to produce are producing like the guys that aren't supposed to produce, and the guys that aren't supposed to produce are what they are

Let's trade for McCann.

C'mon who'se with me?!?!

Former Braves catcher?  KW Special.

We’re not going to add payroll...although at this point Grandal for McCann would be acceptable to start over on the catcher search.  Ironic that Narvaez statistically is one of the best, and not at a $73 million price tag.

Whatever became of the Danny Mendick that people were saying can replace Nick without losing a beat?

1) The immediately-replaceable version of Madrigal kind of went away when he started playing better defense and making better throws.  And keeping his head in the game more.

2) Danny needs some time.  Rome wasn't built in a day.

Why do we need to give him time? He's not that good to begin with.

I hope every fan that thought last year’s team was too reliant on home runs stops watching baseball forever

There's always a desire to be ideally well-rounded.  You want the ability to hit HRs, and also to manufacture runs mostly by playing quality fundamental baseball.  You also really love speed.  Speed kills (sometimes).

There are few things more frustrating in baseball than starting an inning with a lead-off double and then not scoring the guy because nobody can hit the ball to the right side and/or hit a sac fly when necessary.  Obviously you'd love the basehit or HR more but execution is important.

Every fan will always notice possible areas of improvement.

But yes we need more HRs.  We also could use some better players, too.
