That is bizarre.  Maybe I get from ESPN+? Ah shit yea that's it.  I forget I even get some ESPN+ articles, I just have it for soccer watching.

Here I will copy and past the Twins grade for our amusement.

Quote

The Twins started 5-2 and looked every bit like the team that was the preseason co-favorite in the AL Central alongside the White Sox -- certainly capable of winning a third straight division crown, especially with Byron Buxton looking like an MVP candidate. Then they lost nine of 10 and 13 of 15, Buxton got injured, and while we kept waiting for them to bounce back they haven't bounced back. Most discouraging: a 2-10 record against the White Sox.

Get rekt Twins.

they just raised their prices but it's still only like 7 bucks a month for access to a lot of streaming content.  I only use it to watch Serie A and some other soccer stuff but it's worth it just for that.

I watch events on ESPN, that's it. No pregame, no postgame, no highlight/analysis shows, no talking heads. I pretty much watch Monday Night Football, college football, and the one or two Sox games per year they carry. I did watch a lot of the Euro games.

Correct, which is mandatory with any kind of a modern 5G phone.  I think you also get that Disney Bundle too.

How do you get it? All I see is 6 months free then a monthly fee after that.

I logged into my Verizon account, and had it as an option through the "entertainment" tab.  I have the middle Unlimited plan because we have 5G, so I got the Disney bundle free (D+, ESPN+ and Hulu) and an option for the Discovery service for a year before paying for it.

I have 5G as well. However, must not be the same unlimited plan because the Disney bundle for mine is 6 months free but a monthly charge after that.

I actually I just went to the page, and it looks like they might have pulled the offer at the end of may.

ESPN’s whole identity has been spewing its East Coast propaganda for 15+ years now. The only non-live sporting event I’ve watched on that channel for the past decade is College Gameday. Washing my hands of that channel was a great life decision.

But where else will you watch corn hole?  Oh yeah, someone's back yard.
