How about blaming the shit pitcher. Honestly you have your flame throwing lefty and burr who everyone wants. They both shit on themselves. Sometimes players need to perform . Anderson with a shit swing on 3-0 . He sucked on that at bat. But everyone blames the manager. The players suck sometimes . Wait till next game they will suck more.

If this happened in the 10th inning or something, sure. Then it's fine to blame the pitcher. But 99% of the people in this thread right now would have agreed Kopech or Kendriks was the correct guy to bring in, not Crochet. The issue is that so many of Tony's mistakes are very obvious in the moment.
