The year Fullmer had in 2000 was comparable if not better than Konerko's in 2002. Look at the numbers, he had over 30 HR and 100 RBI in 2000. If we have both Konerko and Thomas still their is no point in having Fullmer on our team. If Thomas was gone though, it might not be a bad idea to have Fullmer play 1st base with Konerko DHing. Fullmer seems like a pretty agressive in nature in person and may try to prove that Anaheim was wrong for dropping him. That could result in some good numbers.
