7/24- Chicago @ Milwaukee, 6:10

Recommended Posts

Remember how bad we felt after being swept in Houston?  A week later we were feeling cocky and self-satisfied.  It's never easy to feel good after getting outplayed in every way.  Keep the faith that the FO is working on our shortcomings as we speak.  Help is on the way.

For the love of god, can people start acknowledging Zack Collins is a good hitter against RHP?  Dude has a 128 wRC+ against righties, which is the same as Tim, better than Jose (117), Grandal (116), & most of the other guys on the roster.  Rip his defense / receiving / framing, but the dude is a legit good strong-side platoon hitter.

Don't you mean none of the calls and TLR gonna get the heave ho again?

Nope. Tony is the reason why the Sox never get calls. If he would complain more to the umps and get thrown out, they'd get way more strike calls than they do.

It’s kind of scary how good Burnes is.  Dude has made 16 starts and has given up zero runs five times, one run six times, two runs one time, four runs three times, and five runs one time.  Like he barely walks anyone (1.50/9) and doesn’t give up home runs (three all year).  We’re going to need Rodon to be lights out tonight because I can’t see us getting more than two runs off Corbin.

Of course Goodwin and his lack of hitting is still playing.  At least 1-5 are mlb hitters.  6-9 ?

TLR is obsessive about lefties facing righties no matter what. At least Goodwin is not hitting cleanup like he previously did for several games.
