Love to witness well executed situational hitting. Bases loaded… nobody out… back… to back… to back strikeouts. Even a (no out) conventional double play adds another insurance run.    To witness three (3) straight WS batters unable to (EVEN ONCE) put the ball in play (with the bags packed) is inexcusable.

Shit like that pisses me off like no other. Professional hitters - don’t look with two strikes. Hate the whole don’t shorten up approach with two strikes anyway. Baseball players are more talented today - but their fundamentals at the plate are shit.

Sheets at bat was awful.  Swung at 2 balls over his head and then took a third strike that had all the zone.  Moncada also took a 3rd strike with the bases loaded. Hamilton swung at a ball over his head to KO as well.  That is why I was not too thrilled to see Madrigal go.  We need more guys that put the ball in play.
