For the love of GOD, can Rick DFA Goodwin to take away that option for Tony?!?

In the last 30 days, Goodwin has a .604 OPS vs RHP and Hamilton is at .606. Goodwin no longer provides a platoon advantage and Hamilton is the far superior outfielder. Now that Leury is freed from 2B there's really, really no use for Goodwin.

I swear.. the guys who eat crow when they call out a player is my favorite part about game threads.

Which is why it’s amazing when they beat us.

When their top 3 are healthy…and McKenzie is on, and Karinchak/Clase at the back end, they’re a .500ish team.

But even that won’t last when they trade Ramirez.

Ultimately, they’re going to have to sign Bieber long-term or deal him, like the Twins with Berrios.

Somehow Benetti will get some kind of gig like sideline reporter…if he manages to steal a bow tie away from a certain someone.

McKenzie with a .196 BAA and six walk average…the thing you have to do is wear him down with prolonged at bats like Abreu in the bottom of the first.

How bout this one?

Here we go Keukel is about to turn into a pumpkin again. He might not make 65 pitches tonite

We definitely don’t want any part of him or Cease starting a post-season game…2020 turned out to be the mirage most advance metrics were underpinning with a contrary storyline.

Btw, very quietly, Haase now has 18 homers for the Tigers and sneaking into ROY consideration behind A.Garcia of the Strangers (new nickname since they really suck.)

Last year's Keuchel is completely different than the one this year. This year's Keuchel is giving up more barrels than he's ever given up. For a ground ball pitcher, that can't happen. His barrel and hard hit rates were very good last year and while he probably got lucky, he was still a decent pitcher underneath. Ever since he got hurt late in the season last year, he hasn't been the same guy. The command is just not quite there. For a guy who has subpar stuff, he can't get away with mistakes in the zone.
