Haven’t paid attention to him since his Cleveland days.  Does he have a bad rap?  He’s at least a big body w/ post season experience and 6 fouls to play against Embiid.

Just Google his name. You'll get articles from People and E!. It's just weird that's what comes up when you search for a basketball player. At this point he's bigger as a celeb than as a basketball player. But if he can give us some rebounding and rim protection, I don't really see the problem. If he's a distraction, you cut him. Patrick Williams will be back in 4 weeks anyhow so who knows how much playing time Thompson will actually get.

Yeah, I just hate that he is featured way more on E! than ESPN. Just don’t like that for a lockeroom that seems very tight and focused on the right things.

I trust AK at this point, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Man I can't wait till this team is whole again.

Ayo, Coby, and Green are all starting right now, but they'll be getting bench minutes when everyone is healthy. That 2nd unit is probably going to be one of the best ones in the league. The silver lining to all the injuries is that Ayo and Coby have had the opportunity to develop.

Silver lining to having guys out is how these guys have all been developing and making big contributions.  You feel good about any one of those three being in a closing lineup or playing crunch time minutes.

Coby being the only scorer on the 2nd unit, you have to keep one of the big two out there with them.  But Coach does that anyway.

He'll join an existing culture with strong leadership who will take him by the hand (figuratively) and point him in the right direction.  Or drive him to O'Hare if he biffs up.

I mean anything is better than DeRozan running with Tony Bradley, Troy Brown, and Matt Thomas out there. The fact that he's scoring as much as he is with those guys on the court with him is crazy.

  • DeMar's historic scoring streak
  • Good news on AC returning to action
  • Signing Tristan Thompson, which means the east runs through Chicago (also, just an upgrade in every way over Bradley/McKinnie)
  • Zach seems to be doing OK after docs checked him out
  • Pat and Lonzo are both coming could come back in early-to-mid March.
  • Bulls going into the break as the #1 seed despite everything.

Everything's coming up Millhouse.

Portland has won 4 straight(beating Memphis and the Bucks btw) since trading off CJ/Powell/ Covington. Right now they're the 10 seed and in the play in tournament. How nice would it be if they snuck into the playoffs and the Bulls get the 15th pick in the draft?

Come on man.  I love this team but the Bulls have been pantsed by Philly multiple times this season and Milwaukee is right here too.

FWIW in 9 games Tristan Thompson has held Embiid to "Just" 23/9. Harden could have a tough time with guards the Bulls can throw at him. I also think them losing Seth is gonna be an issue.

That 2nd Philly game, Troy Brown, Malcolm Hill, and Matt Thomas combined for 78 minutes played because there was no Lavine/Coby/Ball/Caruso.

Vuc wasn't playing like he's playing now in the first game against Philly

Neither roster will be the same the next time they play each other, and we all know you can't count on early season results to translate directly to the playoffs
