Do we really need a 10 minute symposium on how Wrigley Field got lights?

How to expand baseball's popularity on a primetime, Sunday night broadcast on ABC:

A) Talk about a World Series contender that has exciting young players

or

B) Talk to Al Michaels for several innings about his broadcasting career and talk about Wrigley Fields'  lights, because Al Michaels was around when the Northside discovered the fucking lightbulb.

Also, of all the choices they mic'd up on the Sox, they chose Joe McEwing???

With how bad his command is periodically I wouldn’t even trust him in the playoffs for that. Electric but his command prevents him from being as dependable as he should be

Yep. He needs his breaking stuff to break over the plate, not at the 58 foot mark. Hitters are just laying off. Also needs to work faster.

Don’t forget they also talked about Howard Cosell and TLR. It was a trip down memory lane for senior citizens.

ABC announcers ripping the clowns who thought TLR wouldn't be able to connect with TA

because they say nice things about each other when asked 1 million times doesn't really mean they connect.

im not saying they dont... but outside of the club house none of us know how they relate.
