"Back when I broadcast baseball, we showed you the game."

Really enjoyed Len and DJ's broadcast, watching along when they bothered to show the game itself. Audio ahead of the television, so you can do other things, look up in time to not miss any play. Will do the same Thursday.

Great game for Tim, Eloy and Andrew. Cease recovered well after a shaky start, Reynaldo came on for another impressive appearance (1.59 ERA this year), Tepera and Ruiz pitched well to close it out.

Time to dab on the Twins before a trip to the cornfields.

It was so great to see us absolutely destroy the opposing starter. We've been letting bad starters throw 6 innings of 2 run ball for way too long. Hopefully this gets us going for a very rough 3 weeks coming up on the schedule.

So great to see the offense have a break out game, needed that badly.  Obviously Eloy is a lineup changer when he’s right and he looks about right.  And how freakin good is Andrew Vaughn?!  Just can’t say enough about that kid.

No position player has saved this season quite like Vaughn and he's only getting better.

That was a fun win but realistically, the Cubs' starting pitcher was throwing batting practice and their lineup might be the worst in the majors.  The Cubs want to tank the season to obtain the highest position they can in next year's Draft. We were in that position not long ago.

Before the game started, I looked around and saw a sea of Cubby blue all around the ballpark....lbut as that wonderful 1st inning developed it sounded like Sox fans outnumbered them 10 to 1.  "Let's Go White Sox" echoed through the stands a good portion of the game.
