maxjusttyped
Dalquist was scoreless through 2 but couldn't get out of the 3rd. Final line 2.2 IP 4 H 3 ER 2 BB 3 K
maxjusttyped
Jose Rodriguez entered today with a 12.9% K rate in High-A. He's checking all of the boxes you'd look for in a prospect with a potentially *elite* hit tool. I know he's a favorite for many on here, but I really struggle to see how he isn't the best prospect in the system right now.
maxjusttyped
Colson Montgomery 2-3 with an RBI & BB. Very rough start for Tanner McDougal. Ramos 2-5 with a 2B, 3B, & RBI
bmags
Despite failing to break out with much power yet, I’m pretty intrigued with how colson has been walking at such a high rate while keeping his Ks low, especially given the dearth of offense on that team.

For a recent reference we all know, it makes me think of how Gavin Sheets always had a good walk/strikeout rate but it took FOREVER for him to tap into his game power. I can wait for a shortstop with a good eye to fill out and get his power stroke.

Strikeout rate is the #1 stat I look at for hitters in the lower levels. I'm with you, I think Colson's plate discipline has been a very pleasant development for him so far.
