CWS will not get far in the post season if they even make it.

There are too many average to below average players riding the wave of the few truly elite players on this team.

But that's P.T. Reinsdorf"s way of keeping the base perpetually thirsty while not interfering with hi$ bottom line.

That paradigm has work well for him over his endless tenure.

The hardware-seeking fanbase ? - not so much.

See they come out when they lose a couple.

The third time the team has been shut out during the past few weeks. The 1977 South Side Hitmen team got shut out twice for the whole year.

I know it is tough to win on the road, but they were out scored 13-2 in these two losses to an under .500 club.  I think there is plenty to be concerned about with this club.

Is it?

Who do you want them to pay a lot to to back up catcher, short, center, etc? You think Trea Turner is coming here to get the boys Gatorade?

Don’t be stupid- No Trey Turner’s not coming here but you can you do a hell of a lot better than the garbage that they have sitting on the benchNo Trey Turner’s not coming here but you can you do a hell of a lot better than the garbage that they have sitting on the bench

That team also finished 3rd and didn’t make the playoffs.

So let me get this straight, we go .500 against winning teams during that stretch in August, win 2 out of 3 against the Cubs, sweep the Pirates but lose 2 out of 3 against KC and the sky is apparently still falling for some posters. ?

Less about record and more about the health of the starting pitching

True but they also won 90 games and were entertaining. In reality, they over-achieved. The year before the team lost over 90 games. Nice turn around. And in this diluted playoff system, 90 wins can get you a wild card spot. No wild cards in 1977.

The 2005 White Sox went 29-28 in August and September with extended losing streaks.

They saw their double digit lead drop to 1.5 games against a talented Cleveland team by mid-September.

The Sox also had losing records against The Red Sox and Angels that season.

Is the current team struggling while Players are rested and on IL? Yes.

Is it Hyperbole to say it’s over and they won’t win a playoff game? YES.

Relax. One goal.
